The State of New Hampshire, Insurance Department has a full-time vacancy for Health Law and Policy Legal Counsel.

**SUMMARY:

Administers and coordinates all legal, policy-related, and legislative objectives of the Insurance Department on matters of health law and health policy with responsibility to serve as primary legal counsel for all regulatory matters relating to major medical insurance coverage and managed care. Coordinates with federal regulatory bodies relating to health insurance and manages the legal aspects of the Departments response to all evolving health insurance-related regulatory issues.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: J.D. from an American Bar Association recognized law school.

Experience: Six years' experience in the active practice of law.

Special Qualifications: Must be an active member of the New Hampshire Bar Association and in Good Standing.

License/Certification: Valid drivers license and/or access to transportation for statewide travel.**
