North American Inbound Logistics product has a high performing team implementing a Yard Management System, supporting legacy systems, and paving a new path to improve cost and quality to operations. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Digital Product Manager to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of our logistics data platform services and inbound transportation management process. You will play a critical role in transforming inbound operations by coordinating the implementation of a new Yard Managment System at all plants in North America and driving the strategy for Inbound Logistics. You will also shadow the exiting Product Manager (retiring) for 3 months gaining experience in the day to day activities.

Product Ownership:

Own the end-to-end product lifecycle Yard Management System (YMS), identifying risks/issues, prioritizing user-stories and backlog to maximize productivity of the Inbound Logistics team. Conduct Product ceremonies to in-take demand, daily stand-ups and iteration retrospectives with a positive continuous improvement mindset.

• Strategic Vision:

Define and articulate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with Ford’s overall logistics and supply chain goals.

• Stakeholder Management:

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including logistics, engineering, IT, data science, and external partners to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure alignment.

• Data-Driven Decision Making:

Leverage data and analytics to identify opportunities for improvement, track key performance indicators, and measure the success of product initiatives.

• Technical Acumen:

Possess a strong understanding of logistics data platforms, transportation management systems, and related technologies such as APIs, cloud computing (including GCP), and data analytics.

• Process Optimization:

Lead the deployment of YMS at each plant reducing number of issues/incidents at each successive launch.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in the logistics, supply chain industry or manufacturing.

• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex digital products.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.

• Passion for innovation and driving positive change within a large organization.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a relevant field.

• Experience with logistics data platforms and transportation management systems.

• Familiarity with Ford's supply chain and logistics operations.

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its relevant services.

This position is a range of salary grades 7 - 8 .
