The Brunersburg Water District is currently accepting applications for the position of Water System Operator. This position works under minimal supervision from the Board of Directors.

The Water System Operator maintains the water distribution and treatment systems, which includes the maintenance of waterlines, meters, and treatment facilities.

The candidate must have excellent customer service skills. Ideal candidate will have knowledge of the operations and maintenance of water treatment and distribution. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid State of Ohio driver's license.

After employment, the candidate must have or be able to obtain a valid Ohio EPA Class I Water Supply Operator license within 24 months of hire and maintain such license as a condition of employment.
