Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting, economics, finance or another related field

  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel

  • Strong organizational skills, including planning and prioritization

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, including ability to deliver feedback to other leaders within the organization

  • Strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to make decisions and think critically through escalated situations and/or complex transactions with little or no guidance

  • Ability to apply finance and treasury principles

  • Knowledge of banking industry and technical knowledge of bank products

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 years of experience in accounting or another related field

  • 2 years of leadership experience

Job Summary

As the Team Leader, Treasury Operations, you'll oversee the movement of cash and loans, reporting, accounting and reconciliation. You'll lead, coach and develop team members.

Responsibilities

  • Manage team performance by setting clear expectations, holding team members accountable and administering/completing the performance evaluation process

  • Lead team member development by conducting regular 1:1s, sharing feedback and providing resources/training as needed

  • Facilitate huddles, training and team building activities

  • Own the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act program for cash and warehouse

  • Manage month-end close deadlines for reconciliations of all cash-related accounts and journal entries

  • Provide support for warehouse facility amendments and renewals including due diligence materials, on-site sessions and other data required for contract negotiations

  • Lead the execution of daily cash management duties such as coding for warehouse activities, completing journal entries in the general ledger, etc.

  • Oversee daily, weekly and monthly reports on cash positions and cash forecasting

  • Monitor, analyze and report on and make recommendations on bank fees

  • Lead and provide direction on internal and external clients for cash and loan-related issues, such as rescinds and returned wires, etc.

  • Manage intercompany settlements and transactions

  • Oversee creation, maintenance and validation of settlement instructions

  • Ensure compliance through managing requests and communications for internal/external audits and monitoring cash management activities

  • Adhere to month-end close deadlines for reconciliations of all cash-related accounts and journal entries

  • Lead or assign treasury projects and initiatives

  • Assist other teams with month-end, quarter-end processes and ad-hoc information requests as needed

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and areas of opportunity

  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase team efficiency and empower team members to develop process improvements
