Standex Electronics Inc. IT Application Manager in Fairfield, Ohio

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Manager to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Director of IT, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and Business Intelligence (BI) applications. The Application Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective implementation, maintenance, and optimization of these key business systems to support the organization's operational efficiency and strategic objectives. What You'll Do Strategic Planning Develop and execute a strategic plan for the organization's ERP, CRM, RPA, and BI applications aligned with overall business goals. Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective application strategies. Implementation and Integration Oversee and manage leads for implementation of ERP, CRM, RPA, and BI solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes. Work closely with cross-functional teams to deploy and configure applications according to business requirements. User Support and Training Oversee the support to end-users, addressing issues, and ensuring smooth operation of applications. Oversee the development and delivery of training programs and standard work documentation for end-users. Team Management Manage a team of direct reports, each responsible for the specific applications (ERP, CRM, RPA, BI). Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team. Vendor Management Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers related to ERP, CRM, RPA, and BI applications. Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effectiveness. Monitoring and Reporting Establish monitoring mechanisms to track the performance and health of applications. Generate regular reports on key metrics, issues, and improvements related to ERP, CRM, RPA, and BI systems. What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. Requires knowledge of ERP, CRM, RPA, and BI systems as well as standard manufacturing business processes. What We Value Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer literacy. Proven experience in managing ERP, CRM, RPA, and BI applications in a corporate setting with in-depth knowledge of ERP, CRM, RPA, and BI technologies and best practices. Experience implementing Tier 1 ERP and CRM systems is a plus Strong project management skills with a track record of successful system implementations. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to addressing challenges. Familiarity with relevant security and compliance standards.
