Working Conditions:
Must be able to tolerate long hours standing
Description:
The tool Gage Coordinator will maintain and manage inventory of small tools and supplies Perform and implement necessary inventory control measures to ensure correct inventory is on hand.
Job Functions:
Calibration & control of inspection instruments.
Setup & Issue inspection gaging.
Customer/Subcontractor, interface/interact.
Control of customer supplied gauging.
Control of age sensitive materials.
Coordinate subcontracting instrument calibrations.
Create & maintain calibration database.
Generate purchase requisition(s) for repairs/new instruments.
Tooling inventory control and distribution.
Receipt and identification of tooling.
Perform condition assessment of tooling.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Training and Experience:•{target="_blank" rel="noopener"}
- Understanding basic GD &T
- Ability to validate inspection, interpret GD&T,blueprints, perform shop math,
- Computer skills Microsoft
- Own tools micrometers, calipers and indicators a plus
- 2-3 years of experience doing similar job
- High School Diploma
- Detailed oriented
- Able to work independent
- Good math and measurment skills
