Veralto Senior Manager Compliance (Hybrid) in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Location: This is a Hybrid position - the team works onsite 2x per week at our Grand Rapids, MI headquarters.

As the Global Compliance Leader, you will lead various trainings for the Global Finance team focused on controls and process improvements impacting the business.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

Internal Control Processes & Internal Monitoring

  • Implement best-in-class financial processes and controls across X-Rite/Pantone’s consolidated operations

  • Design, perform, and direct annual audits or balance sheet reviews for X-Rite regional locations (Asia, the Americas, and EMEA)

  • Provide support and follow-up on the closure of audit issues including monthly updates with Regional Finance Directors

Partnership with Veralto & External Audit

  • Compile and review quarterly disclosure questionnaire submissions by each region

  • Perform SOX testing and drive process improvements resulting from SOX audits

  • Coordinate the audit fieldwork with Veralto's external auditors

Continuous Process Improvement

  • Maintain a funnel of project and problem-solving opportunities with prioritization, impact and resource demand for active managing of execution

  • Support country teams in enabling and leveraging global cross-functional and cross-region support for advancing problem solving and continuous improvement in the organizations.

  • Work with function and country leaders to meet business objectives and improve functional efficiency

  • Promote and facilitate diagnosis of work flow impediments and other wastes throughout the business, and support using appropriate tools to eliminate them

  • Drive continuous improvement by leveraging VES (Veralto Enterprise System) tools, consulting skills, and change management process

  • Assist functional leadership in the development of a Finance and IT VES roadmap

  • Develop VES knowledge and facilitation skills by pursuing certification in VES tools

  • Benchmark and incorporate best practices

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • CPA certification preferred but not required.

  • B.A. or B.S. in Accounting required.

  • 7-10 years of audit and accounting experience required. Public accounting experience required, Big 4 preferred. Experience should include global audit clients, including SOX experience.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, Top tier ERP experience desirable.

  • Travel is required ranging from 10% - 25%.
