A client of ours in the automotive manufacturing industry located in Lexington, Kentucky is seeking an Account Manager to join their team. This position is responsible for maintaining current client relationships as well as prospecting new business. This position offers a company car and requires some overnight travel. This is a full-time permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

salary: $60,000 - $65,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Confirm and process customer orders by telephone, fax and e-mail and visits.

• Identify prospect clients and build sales strategy around obtaining their business.

• Provide quotes and follow up on existing quotes.

• Acquire vendor pricing and determine appropriate product mark up.

• Process vendor purchase orders.

• Resolve customer issues through coordination with appropriate personnel

• Assist sales staff with other administrative functions to ensure customer satisfaction.
