Robert Half Office Manager in Los Angeles, California

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Office Manager in Los Angeles, California. The role involves managing the daily operations of the office and providing reception services, such as answering phones, greeting guests, and stocking snacks. The Office Manager may also be required to perform HR-related tasks as part of their role. This position operates on a hybrid working model with the ability to work from home on select days.

Responsibilities:

• Managing daily office operations to ensure smooth workflow

• Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate parties

• Greeting guests professionally and providing necessary assistance

• Stocking snacks and ensuring the office is clean and well-maintained

• Merging HR tasks into the Office Manager role, as needed

• Utilizing Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Excel and Outlook, to perform administrative tasks

• Applying knowledge of accounting software systems and ADP - Financial Services in daily operations

• Overseeing accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Performing billing functions and resolving related issues

• Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites

• Experience with Microsoft Outlook

• Strong understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Knowledge of Billing Functions

• Excellent Customer Service skills

• Previous experience in an Office Manager role is preferred

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field is preferred
