Position Summary

The Systems Analyst’s role is to ensure proper computer operation so that end users can accomplish business tasks. They will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues. This includes actively resolving escalated end-user help requests within established SLAs. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give in-person, hands-on help at the desktop level. The Systems Analyst also works to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems that support core organizational functions, both directly and indirectly through collaboration with other teams.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate documented resolutions and analyze trends for ways to prevent recurring issues.

  • Alert management to emerging trends in incidents.

  • Act as an escalation point for advanced incidents received from the service desk.

  • Use remote tools and diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting.

  • Research solutions through internal knowledgebase and external resources as needed.

  • Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level when remote tools are not appropriate, including hardware replacement, delivery of peripherals, or other fixes as determined.

  • Contribute to technician knowledgebase and training.

  • Procure and deploy IT hardware and software to end users.

  • Maintain IT Inventory, including the repair and reconfiguration of damaged PCs, Printers, RF scanners, and related devices.

  • Provision and de-provision user accounts to ensure timely access to IT systems.

  • Build rapport with end users and coworkers.

  • Provide suggestions for continuous improvement.

    Qualifications :

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in information technology

  • Advanced knowledge of computer troubleshooting, both software and hardware.

  • Experience with desktop operating systems, including Windows 10 and Windows 11

  • Extensive application support experience with Microsoft Office and SAP client software.

  • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining wireless barcode scanners and printers.

  • SCCM Imaging experience

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.

  • Strong technical documentation skills.

  • Experience with Windows Server 2016 and 2019 preferred.
