If so... Foundations for Living is looking for a strong leader with residential experience to supervise 3rd shift in our facility.

The 3rd shift Milieu Coordinator/ Supervisor regularly ensures the safety and security of the facility at all times by monitoring the movement of the units, ensuring programming is followed, supporting direct care staff and following all facility Policies and Procedures.

The Supervisor maintains a safe and therapeutic milieu (social environment) as well as supports the activities of daily living for our residents by providing structure, redirecting residents, and setting limits on whichever shift assigned. Occasionally, crisis intervention skills may be utilized. Our specialists actively engage youth in a teamwork-focused, trauma-informed care, and pro-social model designed to provide each resident with the necessary skills for a safe and productive life. Youth Care Specialists serve as positive role models and work as part of a team of educators, clinicians, and nurses to support each youth as he or she works to meet individual goals.

Foundations for Living is an 84 bed (14 males and 70 females) secure residential treatment facility for youth addressing mental health and substance abuse issues. Located on the edge of Mansfield, Ohio, in a 14 rolling, wooded acres rural setting, Foundations for Living has easy access to I-71. Foundations for Living is licensed by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (ODMHAS) and accredited by CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities). Foundations for Living offers individual, group, and family counseling to our residents.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelors degree in psychology, social work, education, criminal justice, or related mental health field and one year experience working with troubled youth. High School diploma and four years experience may be substituted where allowed by contracting authority.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations

• Valid State Drivers License with appropriate Endorsements

• Certified in CPR and First Aid
