Classroom Assistant New Albany

Responsibilities: To provide recreational, academic and summer social activities for youth ages 9-17 with disabilities. To monitor and ensure participants safety, encourage academic/educational growth and follow all Rauch policies and procedures at all times.

1. Participate in field trips
2. Provide personal care assistance with feeding and toileting
3. Assist in classroom decorum
4. Assist in planning and implementation of teaching strategies
5. Ensure a nurturing environment that is client focused

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; a minimum of two years experience with young children; flexible, friendly personality, and interested in working with people. Must be reliable and punctual. Must be able to pass a local, state and national criminal history check and drivers check.

Job Type: Temporary Position

• Begins June 5, 2023 and Ends June 30, 2023
• Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
