Robert Half Accounts Receivable Clerk in Salinas, California

Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in the manufacturing industry, based in Salinas, California. This role involves managing customer credit accounts, processing credit applications, and maintaining accurate records. It offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately processing customer credit applications, ensuring all information is up-to-date and correct.

• Maintaining and updating customer credit records, ensuring all data is accurate and current.

• Resolving customer inquiries related to their credit accounts, providing prompt and efficient service.

• Monitoring customer credit accounts to identify any delinquent payments.

• Taking the necessary steps to collect delinquent payments, adhering to company policies and procedures.

• Utilizing skills in 'Accounts Receivable (AR)', '10 - Key Accounting', 'Data Entry', 'MS Excel', and 'Credit - Collections' to effectively perform job duties.

• Ensuring compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards.

• Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient processes.

• Providing reports on credit applications and customer credit accounts as required.

• Continuously seeking ways to improve processes and effectiveness in managing customer credit accounts. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in the role of Accounts Receivable Clerk or similar position within a manufacturing environment

• Proficient in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with 10-Key Accounting

• Experience with Data Entry

• Proficient in using MS Excel

• Experience in Credit Collections

• Ability to work in a team environment and independently

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• High level of integrity and reliability

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
