DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Acquisition Logistics Analyst II shall deliver professional acquisition life cycle logistics support for programs within the Marine Corps Systems Command. Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with birthing and redistribution of Capital and Non-Capital Military Equipment.

  • Support all aspects of the government property transfer process.

  • Develop responses to property accountability RFIs.

  • Support execution of equipment fielding by coordinating all fielding efforts.

  • Learn and support all elements of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) with focus on sustainment, technical data and design interface.

  • Develop concepts, strategies, processes, and procedures, to execute ILS in the acquisition and sustainment phases.

  • Identify, analyze, and recommend acquisition logistics courses of action to the Government customer.

  • Assist in the development, revision and update of acquisition documentation related to multiple ACAT IV (M) and Abbreviated Acquisition Programs (AAP) (Acquisition Strategy/Acquisition Plan, Acquisition Plan Baseline, Life Cycle Sustainment Plan, Material Fielding Plans, IUID, and Disposal Plans, Logistics Requirement Funding Summaries, Level of Repair Analysis, Facilities Impact Reports).

  • Coordinate logistics activities with project stakeholders.

  • Support the Logistics Integrated Product Team by developing presentations, tracking and updating assigned action items, and capturing meeting notes. Provide Logistics input for Program Management Reviews, Integrated Product Team Meetings, milestone decision reviews, and logistics events

  • Provide project related logistics input to Integrated Master Schedules.

  • Support Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) metric development through analysis of FSR and FMF-generated GCSS-MC service requests. Assist senior logisticians in RAM analysis / reporting efforts.

  • Assist with recommendations to the Government on Bill of Materials, Technical Data Packages, and Engineering Drawings for Provisioning.

  • Assist in resolving warranty issues and coordinating warranty exchanges as needed.

  • Use TFSMS to run reports and develop TOECRs.

Required:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Power Point, Word, Excel, SharePoint, MS Project.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment to cohesively meet the needs of the customer.

Desired:

  • Working knowledge of TFSMS, TCLM-OST, GCSS-MC

  • Familiarity with TDM-Catalyst

  • Familiarity with Marine Corps Publications review processes.

  • Previous implementation of Defense Acquisition and its impact to Logistics.

Required Experience

Required:

  • Experience with acquisition processes and the development and preparation of acquisition documents.

  • Experience with developing Logistics Documentation in support of system sustainment or equipment modification and upgrades.

  • Bachelor’s degree, plus 5 years of acquisition logistics experience, preferably in a Marine Corps Systems Command program office or similar organization; OR 7 years of related work experience.

Desired:

  • Experience with USMC acquisition management systems highly desired.

  • Experience with USMC supply management systems highly desired.
