Description:  We are seeking an experienced Grind Hand and Gage Builder

Responsibilities include:

• Setup and run various parts on Surface Grinders.
• Inspect and verify dimensions of pieces to drawing specifications using micrometers, dial indicators, and gauge blocks.
• Daily cleaning and routine equipment maintenance.

Location:  Sterling Heights, MI

Pay:  Based on previous experience; opportunity for overtime

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years setting up and running various parts on surface grinders
• Ability to build gages and gage fixtures
• High school diploma or GED, Trade school/Vocational school
• Must have experience holding extremely tight tolerances
• Proficient with best machining practices and machine feeds/speed rates
• Ability to interpret drawing specifications
• Ability to interpret GD&T tolerances
• Self-starter- highly motivated
• Quality and Safely conscious
