Customer Service Representative

Job Overview:

The primary function of a CSR is to communicate with the customers, take orders and bill out invoices.  When taking orders, you will need to be educated across our wide range of products. This is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the CSR Manager. 

Essential Job Functions:

• Service customers via emails, over the phone, or face to face

• Take orders from customers

• Handle Customer billing and cash deposits

• Assist in separating mail

• Possibly prepare deposits on weekends

• Able to answer main switchboard, assisting the receptionist if needed

• Process driver tickets and invoicing

• Listen to the customer queries patiently and solve it

• Respond to the problems of the customer promptly

• Maintain records of interactions with the customers in an orderly manner

• Must be articulate and a confident communicator

• Extremely efficient and accurate with data entry, Proficient in MS applications

• Must demonstrate patience when communicating with customers

• Knowledge of customer services ethics, principles and procedures

• Proficiency in administrative and documentation procedures

• Versatile and willing to adapt to a situation with a customer

• Coordinate with the internal department and/or supervisor to find solutions and resolve matters

• Maintain a follow up on the customer, to ensure they are satisfied with our company

  Qualifications / Experience / Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of related experience - preferred

• Strong computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel

• Able to pass 7-year background check
