Description: Electrical Designer

• • Develop detailed electrical installation designs in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical
• • Design PLC-based control systems in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical
• • Select and specify electrical components
• • Create and update I/O points based on field data
• • Travel up to 10 - 15% of the year to gather and confirm field information needed for designs and for startups/commissioning projects

MUST HAVE:

• • Associates Degree OR 3 years of relevant experience
• • Electrical installation design experience
• • AutoCAD OR AutoCAD Electrical
• • Some experience out in the field or an understanding of control panels / control systems
• • Power distribution design at 480v and/or motor control design experience

PLUS:

• • Bachelor's Degree
• • AutoCAD Electrical
• • Familiarity with material handling, batching, steel, or glass industry (especially glass)
