Summary :

Reporting to the Group Sales Manager- Front End/Receiving, the Greeter is responsible for providing superior customer service through greeting and acknowledging all customers in a friendly and professional manner and providing information on in store promotions.

Responsibilities :

• Greet and engage customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner

• Act as a brand ambassador for Bass Pro Shops/Cabela’s to all customers entering the store;

• Greet customers enthusiastically and courteously as they enter the store and inform them of in store promotions and events;

• Distribute flyers and promotional materials to customers entering the store;

• Direct customers to the appropriate department(s);

• Walk the main aisles of the store to greet customers;

• Ensure any firearms being brought into the store are properly checked by an Outfitter with a valid P.A.L and arrange for customer to be escorted to the Gun department;

• Merchandise and maintain visual presentation of products and displays in the front area;

• Maintain cleanliness of the store entrance area;

• Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate.

Qualifications :

• Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed customer’s expectations

• Knowledge of general retail practices and procedures;

• Excellent communication and customer service skills;

• Ability to stand for prolonged periods;

• Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle

• Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops/Cabela’s specific products is an asset
