Cabela's Greeter in Vaughan, Ontario
Summary :
Reporting to the Group Sales Manager- Front End/Receiving, the Greeter is responsible for providing superior customer service through greeting and acknowledging all customers in a friendly and professional manner and providing information on in store promotions.
Responsibilities :
Greet and engage customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner
Act as a brand ambassador for Bass Pro Shops/Cabela’s to all customers entering the store;
Greet customers enthusiastically and courteously as they enter the store and inform them of in store promotions and events;
Distribute flyers and promotional materials to customers entering the store;
Direct customers to the appropriate department(s);
Walk the main aisles of the store to greet customers;
Ensure any firearms being brought into the store are properly checked by an Outfitter with a valid P.A.L and arrange for customer to be escorted to the Gun department;
Merchandise and maintain visual presentation of products and displays in the front area;
Maintain cleanliness of the store entrance area;
Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate.
Qualifications :
Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed customer’s expectations
Knowledge of general retail practices and procedures;
Excellent communication and customer service skills;
Ability to stand for prolonged periods;
Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle
Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops/Cabela’s specific products is an asset
