Actalent Electronics Repair Technician in Waukesha, Wisconsin
We are looking for an Electronic Repair Technician who enjoys working with their hands to tear electronics apart and put them back together! The Repair Technician will inspect and repair electrical/electronic assemblies to meet quality standards. They will also provide suggestions to reduce/eliminate any problems causing repeat equipment failures.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose problems in malfunctioning equipment
Determine the faulty part and decide whether it can be repaired or needs to be replaced
Test and adjust electronic equipment to ensure they are in optimal working order
Repair/assemble Electronic Controls
Repair/assemble Interconnect cable
Inspect parts for surface defects
Required Skills:
Must be able to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Good knowledge of basic hand tool and the ability to use them
Ability to read and understand DVM
Ability recognize wiring or device components that require repair or replacement
Required Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Associates Degree or Technical Diploma from a technical or vocational school in Electronics, Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
Certificate as Certified Technician by ETA (Electronic Technician Association) and/or International Society of Certified Electronics Technicians (ISCET)

Physical Requirements:
- Required to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
